I wrote here that they were "promising". There that they were a "drunken band". I think it is time now to call The Upallnights a "good band with fun songs". Cause this is what You only die once is: a quite funny long tune (6'30), with wandering solo guitars and syncopated rhythms. The band told me they "like to imagine a sicilian funeral march when they listen to it, with the trumpets and all". Mmmmhh... maybe, maybe. I would more picture it as an anthem sung by some sailors lost at 4am in an Irish pub. You chose. It is at least mixed by Edward from Riddarna, one of Absolut Noise's blue-eyed boys. I do not know if a debut album is expected, but it is awaited by me.

J'ai écrit ici qu'ils étaient "prometteurs". Là qu'ils formaient "un groupe alcoolique". Je crois qu'il est désormais temps de qualifier The Upallnights de "bon groupe avec des chansons plutôt funs". C'est en tout cas ainsi que je pourrais résumer You only die once : un long morceau (6'30), avec des solos guitares brinquebalants et des rythmes syncopés. Le groupe m'a indiqué "s'imaginer une marche funéraire sicilienne, avec des trompettes et compagnie, lorsqu'ils écoutent" cette chanson. Mouais, mouais... Je verrais plutôt une chanson braillée par des marins perdus à 4h du mat' dans un bar irlandais. A vous de voir. La chanson est en tout cas mixée par Edward du groupe Riddarna, accessoirement l'un des chouchous d'Absolut Noise. Je ne sais pas si un premier album du groupe est prévu, mais je l'attends de pied ferme.
